Maize, a key to build our future

18.09.2025

Productive, economical, resilient… offering multiple opportunities, corn is undoubtedly a crop with a bright future in Europe. This is especially true given that corn farmers can count on genetic progress and the quality of seeds made in Europe.
Genetic progress is constantly improving the performance (yield, UFL) and characteristics of corn (early vigor, resistance to disease, lodging, pests, water stress, etc.).
And the quality of the seeds provides guarantees in terms of varietal purity, technological quality, and health quality, allowing the full expression of the varietal innovation offered by breeders.

The FNPSMS will be present at this 65th edition of the European Commodities Exchange to promote and showcase corn seeds produced in Europe. As a federation, we are running an ambitious communication campaign that highlights the quality, diversity, and competitiveness of European seeds, which guarantee agronomic performance and sustainable agriculture.

Our participation in the ECE is a unique opportunity to exchange ideas with key players in the cereal and fodder sector: traders, processors, producers, and distributors. It is also an opportunity to reaffirm the strategic role of certified seeds in the agricultural value chain and to share our vision focused on innovation and adaptation to climate and economic challenges.

We look forward to seeing you on October 15 and 16, 2025, at Berlin ExpoCenter City to discover and discuss the advantages of European seeds at our stand.
