The 2026 Maize, Seeds for Future European Tour Kicks Off in June
Seeds for Future will be present at major European agricultural events throughout the year. Here are the key dates in its 2026 agenda.
To showcase the excellence of European maize seeds, the teams will meet industry professionals at six major events across the continent.
The kickoff in Germany and Poland
June 2026
The tour will begin in Germany, from 16 to 18 June 2026, at the DLG Feldtage in Bernburg. This international trade fair, focused on crop production and machinery demonstrations, brings together key stakeholders from across the sector. It is an excellent opportunity to showcase the quality of European maize seed.

It will then continue in Poland, from 19 to 21 June 2026, with the National Field Days alongside PZPK in Szepietowo. Organized under the auspices of the Polish Ministry of Agriculture, this flagship event combines innovation, expertise, and a passion for agriculture. A key moment of the tour will feature experts such as Dr Bereś, who will provide insights into diagnosing maize crop incidents at our booth. It will also be an opportunity to discover our maize trial platform.
Exclusive study visit to Pau (France)
29 June to 2 July 2026
The South-West of France will host a major highlight of the year: a study trip organized by the FNPSMS on the theme “Maize: Genetic Innovations and European Seeds.” This four-day technical immersion will include visits to seed multiplication fields, a production facility, and a laboratory, as well as meetings with technical experts and agronomists from the Arvalis. Professionals and numerous journalists from across Europe and Central Asia will take part in this event.

Euroseeds Congress in Valencia (Spain)

To conclude this European tour, Maize Seeds for Future will take part in the Euroseeds Congress, from 25 to 28 October 2026 in Valencia. This international gathering brings together key players in seed research, breeding, and commercialization. It represents a key milestone in promoting the sector at the European level.
